It would not charge enough to shut off the low battery warning and they would not replace it. And i had enough of the fucking low power warning signal making noise for the last two days.Told them to stick it up their ass , i had listened to it long enough.

I have a 270-5 as well as a 260-8. I use both as daily drivers. The 270-5 is Simpsons High precision meter, with a guarantee of 1% accuracy. The 260 is 2% guaranteed accuracy. The 270 lives up to its claims of accuracy as well as does the 260. Best meters you can buy, IMHO, better than any fluke or other DVM, especially for troubleshooting electrical circuits. The taut band suspension of the meter movement is second to none!

I have that same paper shredder, but when I insert paper the automatic light turns on and off every second, and the shredder pauses for a second, stops and then continues and stops again and it's always like that, and it doesn't shred it completely , it leaves a piece uncrushed and I have to press the Fwd to finish crushing it. Can you help me know how to change that grinding mode? Since at the beginning when I bought it, it was not like that, it shredded the paper without stopping or the automatic light

if you're looking for parts for one of these where would you source them? all the shops I can find show these all out of stock. Need the gear for pulling the CDS which is I think the major fail point for these models so not sure buying one to cannibalize would help as that part is at least worn if not shot.

Any idea why a 25w power supply would have such a beefy transformer in it? Your average laptop charger is 45w-90w or sometimes even 130w and are soooo much smaller and lighter than these. I found your video because I got one of these in a big box of electronics from a yard sale and couldnt figure out why a 25v 1a power supply would be so heavy

I'm currently doing a heavy test on one of these. Undeniably, it was cheap. I just want it to get through this 20+ years of paperwork I have here. A LOT of paper documents. I mean a backpack over filled so bad, Nome of the zippers will close, 30 lbs of paper in the backpack, and half a garbage bag, heavy, heavy with paper. I got through the backpack which ended up being 2 super full garbage bags of shred. Light, but super full. What I can say is it is cheap. In would not go more than 6 pieces 4 sheets is probably more of a sure thing. I got it jammed up twice. First time it was from feeding it a bank statement (one of about 50), unopened, still in the envelope, probably 3 sheets folded, plus an empty envelope, typically a one sheet flyer, and the envelope it sealed in. What happens when it jams is it will stop working, grind to a hault after almost passing whatever it was that jammed it, the motor overheats, the overheat light comes on and you can't do anything forward or reverse until it cools down. Shut her down, let it cool, then when you get back to it, I found the best way to unjam it, is to use an old credit or debit card to push it through. It's good that it has a reverse. It may jam, but it's no problem if you do it the way I did it before. It happened again, I did the above to fix it, no problem. So I know it's cheap, that's why I bought it. I'm hoping I can at least get rid of what I have here. If it's alive when I'm don't, good. I'm 🚫 t using it typically. Feed it a few sheets here and there, I'm sitting there with a stack of paper beside me, grabbing 1,2,3,4,5 sheets and feeding it, over and over again, until it gets too hot, usually 2 or 3 pails, then I give it a 15 minute break. I'm also started opening envelopes, tossing the outside envelope and then flyer, then shredding the unfolded paperwork I really want to shred. Between my credit cards and bank statements unopened still in envelopes, I must have 50 - 100 on top of sooooo many other things. Every paystub I have had since 2001. Little hand written envelopes from 2001.

Thanks for the video but I cant seem to get terminal working using your guide. When you first load up pycharm you get an error message in terminal. I dont get anything, just a flashing cursor. Keyboard input not working. When you copy the arm folder over to /opt/pycharm/lib/pty4j-native/linux. I have a problem. My folder is just called pty4j. I have tried copying it to /opt/pycharm/lib/pty4j/linux but still terminal not working. I have tried renaming the folder to pty4j-native but still not working. pty4j-0.9.7.jar has been copied into /opt/pycharm/lib. I am using a Pi5. Any help would be welcome
